We tried very hard to stick to Tivo's policies in regards to copyright infringement, our conversion tools imprint the user's Tivo Media Access Key as a watermark on the video. Tivo Media Access Key's can easily be traced back to a Tivo account.
We hope this is a good tradeoff between Tivo users and copyright holders; our users can convert their shows into standard formats which gives them access to more tools and devices, while at the same time, gives them a real dis-incentive to violate copyright laws by publishing content publicly.
The beta release still needs some polish and some features are missing, but we encourage you to try it and give us feedback in our forums on features you'd like to see.
