File this in the category of "who gives a rat's a**" but I've been struggling with the terms Personal Video Recorder (PVR) and Digital Video Recorder (DVR). I think for some people, the terms can be confusing and it's time to pick one and stick with it. While I think PVR is a more accurate description, it seems like the industry is moving to "DVR" as the preferred acronym, and from this point forward, I'll relent to peer pressure and use the term "DVR".

The "I love PVRs" tattoo will be undoubtedly painful to remove, but it's worth it if helps our readers.

dammit! now i'm going to have to change my letterhead!

I'm obstinately refusing to cut over to the DVR terminology =) I think, that PVR implies more functionality than simply being a digital VCR (which is what a DVR implies) but i'm starting to be in the minority on this opinion...

I did register byoDVR.com but haven't pointed it anywhere and loathe revisiting the images/templates of my site...

not that anyone asked...i'm just rambling... hello *squeel* is this thing on?!?!

I'm not sure that you need to get the tatoo removed. You could just get the "P" changed to a "D" :).
